Their name is derived as a result of their opening mechanism, which can provide superb ventilation and cleaning options with the twist of a handle. In order to open the window for ventilation purposes, simply turn the handle in one direction and the uPVC window tilts open to allow air flow; turn the handle again and the window opens fully inwards, which allows the outside pane to be easily cleaned, even in hard to reach areas.
